You have an upcoming medical appointment or a cosmetic treatment scheduled?

If you are scheduled to come to the clinic for an appointment, a procedure, a removal or a treatment, you will be called up to 24h prior to your appointment time.

During the call, you will be informed of your appointment is postponed or maintained. You will be also be informed if your appointment will be in person, or over the phone. For more specific appointment information please the

New Patients

  • If you are scheduled for an IN-CLINIC appointment, you will be emailed new patient intake forms and COVID-19 protocol instructions prior to your appointment.
  • If you are scheduled for a TELEPHONE appointment, you will be emailed new patient intake forms and an invitation to register for the Telehealth software where you can attach photos of the area(s) of concern. The doctor will call you on the day of your appointment.

Returning Patients

  • If you are scheduled for an IN-CLINIC appointment, you will be emailed COVID-19 protocol instructions prior to your appointment.
  • If you are scheduled for a TELEPHONE appointment, you will be emailed an invitation to register for the Telehealth software where you can attach photos of the area(s) of concern, unless otherwise specified. The doctor will call you on the day of your appointment.

What procedures are in place to ensure my safety from COVID-19 when I come to Dermatologie?

  • In-clinic appointments have been scheduled with more time in between each appointment to ensure minimal contact between patients and enough time to perform a thorough cleaning of the exam rooms and medical supplies.
  • No more than 8 people in the clinic at any one time, including staff.
  • For all patients entering the clinic, on the morning of their appointment Dermatologie will email a form screening for COVID symptoms and exposure history to avoid any ill patients from visiting.
  • Upon arrival, please wait outside or in your car. Phone the clinic at 604.380.4400 or text our emergency line at 604.442.0886 to let us know you have arrived. A staff member will let you know when it is safe to come up to the clinic.
  • Wear a form of facial covering to the appointment if possible which covers your nose and mouth. Face masks can be provided upon request.
  • Our front line staff are equipped with the proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as recommended by Fraser Health Authority.

Is UV therapy still available?

Dermatologie is still open for UV therapy. Please be aware of the following changes:

  • We no longer accept walk-ins. UV therapy is available by appointment only.
  • Our scheduling practices have been changed to allow for more time between appointments and cleaning the UV machines between each use.
  • Please call or email the clinic to schedule your UV appointments.
